Online College Help from Renee

--- jammin' online college help ---

Dear Renee,

Can you tip me off to some good online M.A. programs in psychology?

Thanks,

Franny

Sure Franny. Here You Go...

Online M.A. Psychology Degrees

Let me know how that works out for you...

Dear Renee,

I have one and a half years of community college under my belt. I want to do something outdoors, or at least something active. I don't like sitting at a desk and being indoors all day. I'm pretty good at science and I like to draw, paint, play with colors and also I like being around the ocean and lakes. Water makes me happy.

So? What's out there for me?

Liz in Nevada

Dear Liz,

Woot! Woot! Woot! (That's suppose to sound like a game show buzz.) Ok, Liz. I think I see something that you might like very much.

It's called Turf Grass Management. The University of Pennsylvania offers a 30 credit (about one year) certificate for $7500. Online.

This will get you into an entry level turf management position with a very liveable salary of between $28,000 and $35,000.

Then...

... Using the credits you've already earned at the community college and another year of study... earns you a B.S. in Turf Management, (also offered online) bumping your salary up to $60,000 - $80,000.

Who hires Turf Managers? Sports clubs, parks, golf clubs, recreational areas. Anywhere you see a nice, big stretch of green. It's an active, outdoor job, it requires an understanding of chemistry, botany, physics and horticultural principles, and there is plenty of color. Green. Both on the ground and in your pocket.

Your Friend Always,

Renee
